Four of the eight series of UK Gladiators (ITV) ended in the January of the calendar year after the one in which they started. Hence, to identify the series in terms of the years in which they were first broadcast might be confusing.
Series 1 began on 10 October 1992 and had 10 episodes, ending on 9 January 1993. One series followed each year, until 1999 – when Series 8 started on 11 December and had only four episodes. It ended on New Year's Day 2000.
Series 2 started on 28 August 1993 and ended on New Year's Day 1994. Each of Series 3 to 7 started in September, and finished in late December – except Series 5, which ended on 11 January 1997.
